Get Rid The Panda Eyes

Found this article, sound interesting and useful for those having dark circles problem..

Some simple Home remedies get rid of Dark circles under the eyes -

Home remedies cannot remove dark circles permanently, but they provide short-term, inexpensive solutions that can help diminish the dark circles.

1) Mix a little almond powder with milk cream and massage the mixture around your eyes before going to bed. This is useful Home Remedy for Dark Circles under Eyes.

2) Slices of cucumber or potato can be used to reduce circles around the eyes. Close your eyes and cover your eyelids with a thin slice for up to twenty minutes. This soothes tired eyes and increases the circulation to the skin around the eyes.

3) One can also apply a little cucumber juice to the area. You could even grate the potato, wrap it in thin cloth and place it over the eyes. Make sure to wash the area thoroughly afterwards and apply a little cream or oil around the eyes to moisturize the area. This is another good Home Remedy for Dark Circles under Eyes

4) Detoxing the body helps in certain cases. This involves fasting for short periods of time, but continue to take in plenty of water. Cut out all the unhealthy foods that are a regular part of your diet. Give up alcohol, caffeine, sugary drinks, fatty and sugary food, smoking, etc.
5) Dab a little lemon or tomato juice in to the darkened areas two or three times a day. Be very careful not to let the juice in to your eyes. This is also useful Home Remedy for Dark Circles under Eyes.

6) Soak a couple of tea bags in clean, cold water for a few minutes, squeeze out the excess water and place them over your eyes. Keep them there for ten minutes or so.

7) Buy some Vitamin E supplements in capsule form. Carefully break open the capsule and squeeze the gel on to your finger. Gently and carefully, rub the gel around your eyes.

8) Squeeze the juice from a cucumber and cool it in the refrigerator for an hour or so. Add a little lemon juice and lanolin cream. Apply around the eyes for up to twenty minutes. Wash off carefully. This is useful to get rid of Dark Circles.

A Victim of the Law of Men - SOUAD

A must read for anyone who thinks that we should respect religions and cultures unquestionably. What about human rights? The more I read and understand about many Muslim cultures, the more appalled I am (and I thought that I would become more tolerant with knowledge). I am so thankful that I live in Malaysia where all are free. Yes we have had, and still have, our problems, but what a great country, what a great life where we can make choices.

This is an incredible story. Very heartbreaking and horrifying to know that this brutality still continues today. Once I started the book, I could not put it down. Although I’m not done with it yet, I can’t wait to blog it! Really hope everyone could read this book. I don’t mind borrowing you mine! Hehehehe…

Here's the description from Publisher's Weekly:

The first true account ever published by a victim of an "honor crime," this shocking, moving, and harrowing tale has already become an international sensation.

Souad was a 17-year-old girl living in a small village in Jordan when she had the misfortune of falling in love -- an emotion that would lead to an unspeakable act of violence and a lifetime of exile from her homeland.

With a childhood marked by hard labor and physical abuse at the hands of her father, who is humiliated by the birth of many daughters and only one son, Souad is desperate to leave home. Enticed into a relationship with a handsome neighbor, her short-lived romance leaves her pregnant. Forbidden to marry until her older sisters find husbands and having brought shame to her family, Souad faces the only acceptable punishment: death.

How her family plots to kill her, her harrowing struggle to survive burns over 90% of her body after her brother-in-law douses her with gasoline and sets her on fire, her dramatic escape from Jordan, and her resolve to build a new life for herself is a tale of heartbreaking drama and remarkable courage.

Johan Shipping Celebrating 25th Anniversary

A little bit history of my company…

Swee Joo Group, via Johan Shipping Sdn Bhd (“Johan Shipping”), was founded 25 years ago by four vastly experienced parties in the shipping industry that joined forces to provide a total and complete approach to shipping. These four parties are The Sim Family, The Jugah Family, Lo Ping Yiu and Geoffrey Teo Yong Luan.
In 1982, burgeoning trade activities and the commencement of the Bintulu Port made these four parties aware of the huge potential in the container shipping market.
In order to best take advantage of the vast opportunities in this market, the four decided to combine their extensive exposure and invaluable hands-on experience of the industry to venture into container shipping via the incorporation of Johan Shipping in 1982.
For its listing on Bursa Malaysia on 17 October 2006, the name Swee Joo was chosen to embody the new corporate entity.
Today, Swee Joo Group owns and operates a fleet of 32 vessels, comprising 14 container vessels, 1 product tanker, 10 general cargo vessels and seven support vessels. These vessels ply routes in Peninsular Malaysia, East Malaysia and in addition to Thailand, Ho Chi Minh City and China. Swee Joo is also a box operator with regional routes that cover Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Jakarta and Surabaya in Indonesia as well as Singapore

An Evening @ Papaya Plantation

Family Gathering

It’s been a long time since I went for a family gathering. It is my uncle 60th Birthday this year. Since it was a public holiday (31st August) the next day, they decided to have a small surprise for him and we had a small family gathering!! It was fun with all the yummy yummy food, playing with my little niece and chat with my cousin Eugene & William. They seem so big to me now. I remember I used to carried them in my arms, play with them with their toys, kacau them but now they are even taller than me!! That’s reminding me how old I am now!! As usual my dad, my grandma and my uncles will start their mahjong game lo..

Around 9.30pm, my sis’s bf drives me to my hubby house. She and her bf heading to some Merdeka party over @ her friend’s penthouse!! Happy Happy lo… My hubby and I thought about joining her (since we dun have any plan) but then my sis sms me, told me is not the type of music my hubby will enjoy. So we decided not to go and guess what I fall asleep at 11p.m!! I celebrated my Merdeka countdown in my sweet dreams.. hahahhahaaa..
