End of 2 weeks
The weather around Bay of Plenty is so unpredicted! Is been rain and sun, on and off the whole fortnight. Roads were flooded around the city including Mount Maunganui. No choice I have to cancel my trip to Hamilton and stay home almost everyday! 2 no working weeks are gonna end in 1 day. I’ll be start working again tomorrow. Happy coz I will be paid again! Sad coz need to wake up early at 6.45am again!
In 2 weeks time I managed to finish 2 books. `If I’m Dead or Missing’ and `Vegan Virgin Valentine’. Spend sometime playing ‘Uno’ with my housemate and try to finish up the word search puzzle book. 2 of my housemate leaved yesterday. Eva is going back to Taiwan and Xiao Feng gonna start travel down to the South Island. So are only Happy, Johann and I living in this 4 room’s house. Johann and me won’t be leaving tat soon, probably will be staying here another 2 or 3 months. Is nice tat lesser people staying together, we dun have to wait for bathroom and to cook. I can do it anytime I want now! Hehehee…

The Hobbiton Movie Set and Farm Tour
The Hobbiton Movie Set & Farm Tour was fun! It takes about 1 hour drive up to Matamata from Tauranga.
Our tour starts with drive through a picturesque 1,250 acre working sheep farm (there are 12,000 sheep and 300 beef cattle) with spectacular views!
The tour guide start telling us how the hobbiton movie set was developed. In 1998, Peter Jackson discovered this farm during an aerial search for suitable film sites. The fantastic views and rolling countryside is perfect! The large pine tree, later become known as the ‘party tree’ was already perfectly places in front of the lake. The surrounding farmland was untouched by 20th century clutter such as roads, buildings and power lines.
There are 37 hobbit holes were created with untreated timber, ply and timber. Even the mill and arch bridge were built out of scaffolding, ply and polystyrene, glued and painted! The Hobbiton movie set has been returned to it natural state, however hobbit holes and some structures from the film set are still present.
Then we get to see sheep shearing demonstration! The shearing was done very fast! With no fur, the sheep start shivering. The fur will only grow back in 6 months time. Poor sheepy… The best part is that we allow to bottle feed the pet lambs! Is so adorable!! I so wanna bring one of it home!!
