2 months in Nelson

2 months in Nelson, finally my 8 weeks working with Enza going to end very soon. In fact I extended another 2 weeks! My last day would be next week, 2nd of May.
Will be heading down to Christchurch on 4th of May for 4 days. Then will be heading up to North Island. I’ll be doing Kiwi @ Tauranga. Heard from friends is more relaxing and not so stressful than working in Enza. Enza packhouse is a torturing place!! That’s what all of us said!
But still I couldn’t bear to leave this place. Not because of the packhouse but all the people I met at here! They are a great bunch of people! Although some are kinda weird but I still felt upset leaving them. Some already leaved and most going to leave soon too.. L


Can’t believe I’m here in New Zealand for 2 months already!! The bloodly cold weather here made me miss the sunny day in Malaysia. Is not even winter yet and is freaking cold everyday!!
Sometimes it goes down to 7’c at nite and it even goes down to 1’c few days back!! I did not felt the cold coz I was sleeping tat nite with my heater on. Hehehe.. Is better for me to head up to the North so it won’t be tat cold! I can’t stand it!!

My cooking skill is improving! My curry chicken, bak kut teh, 3 cup chicken ( 3 pei chee) and meehun goreng tasted Yummy!!! Can’t believe I cooked all that! So so proud of myself!
Hahahahahahaa…
I gonna cook all tat to my dearest mummy, daddy n sister when I’m back in JB!
When I told my sis few days back on MSN that I could cook all this, she said I action!!
Walao! I never even cook in JB le! Should be proud for me mah!

I learned to cut my hubby hair too! Well, actually is using the hair shaver la.. but is not easy okie! I think I have to do it again very soon coz he keep saying how long his hair is!! Although is not as nice as wat Edison used to do for him but I try all my best to made it look similar wit tat. Anyway, he loves with wat I did and he said I’m doin a good job! So….good la!

Apple or Pear?








Finally i have time to blog!! hohoho..






Apple and Pears



Pear girl? Apple girl? I called myself an Apple girl now. We hardly handle pears these days..They always said no fruit no fruit.Mostly everyday we deal with apples. I no longer doing packing nowdays.I been send to the Grader department. Choosing the good and the bad apples with all the lao ah ma.Although it's boring but is not as tired as packing them.I have to be quick, both hand and eyes! I wonder will i go 'mata juling' oneday looking at the apple roll n roll n roll. you got to make sure which apple is inand which is out by juz looking at them in few second. I cant spend too much time on one apple, i'll get 'tiao' by the supervisor.



I really dun have much time to blog la Jamie..
Everyday work from 8am to 4.30pm then if OT continue from 6pm to 10pm..
Stress ah!!I got to cook too le!!I bring my own lunch and dinner to work everyday!I hardly cook in JB and now..i cook everyday!!I find cooking is fun but i only know how to cook simple dishes..Some recipe anyone? but pls..make sure the ingredient can be found in here.hehehe..

The 1st Week

So here i am! Nelson, New Zealand!Thank god they have wireless here! hahahahaa.. but the connection SUCKS!
My 1 week wasnt take good.. i was sick on the 3rd day for 3 days!!!
Maybe is the weather..not so used to it! The sunlight is so bright and the wind is so cold!
Sun block is a MUST!!!!
But i'm still love this place although it juz a small town..n only 1 shopping mall called Richmond Mall. My hubby said this place is like Malacca but i said NO!! Is like Pontian!! Even Batu Pahat have more shopping mall!!
We stayed at a backpacker place.. called Tahuna Beach Holiday Park. We have to share the toilet and the kitchen with the others. Most of them are from Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. We are the only Malaysian here.
Anyway, we gonna start working on the 25th @ a huge factory. We work for ENZA company. The apple you guys can always see in the supermarket. We will be packing pears and apple.
We got to work from 8am to 4.30pm and we sometimes we need OT too..
Hope it wont be a tiring job!!

Bye Malaysia..

I'm leaving..
tonite..
to someplace far far away from my parents and friends.. for 6 months or might be longer..
to have a new experience at a new place..with different culture and everything..
I'm excited!! I'm Scared!! and Sad too..
could i cope wit it? I dunno... but i have my loved one with me..
by supporting each other i guess everything will be fine.
This Nelson place..sound kinda ulu..but there are ppl told me is the coolest and the most beautiful place in New Zealand!! So i'm expecting lots of mountain, beach, lake and of coz lots of cow and sheep!! hehehehehee...
Is spring at the moment..it would be cold and it will be all the way to July ( Winter)..
I wonder do they have snow???!!
I'll try to update my blog wit lots of beautiful pic of NZ!
Pls pray hard for me..pray tat they have broadband!! (Jamie you better pls do so) hahahahaa..
or i will be so bored staring at those COW everyday!! :(
I already start missing everyone here! Sigh..
I bet i gonna cry hard tonite @ Changi Airport..
